Alarm permits are  required for all homes and businesses in Saginaw that operate alarm systems.  Permits are $10, and expire annually.  You will not be sent a reminder when your permit expires.  The police department responds to alarms, regardless of permit status.  However, home and business owners who operate alarms without a valid permit are subject to citation.
